Signs Your Business Could Be Ready For A Rebrand

Signs you could be ready for a rebrand.jpg

Due to the current climate many business owners are using this time to evaluate the state of their branding and website and are often asking themselves whether or not they are making progress towards their goals and reaching their ideal target audience. For some business owners, taking a hard look at their website analytics and sales can often lead to them wondering whether they should look to invest in a rebrand.
Since lockdown, I’ve had lots of chats with potential clients who are in this position and unsure whether a brand makeover is worth it. I totally get it, making a decision to revamp everything from your logo to your website can be scary and overwhelming!
But here’s the thing: you’ve heard me say it many times and I’ll keep saying it… new branding is an investment. By investing in these (super essential) elements to your business, you are taking one step further to reaching your IDEAL clients which ultimately will transform the success of your business! As a designer and brand strategist, what I want more than anything is for your investment to provide a real return – and that is what you will get!
There is nothing better than hearing form clients that their sales have doubled and, in some cases, TRIPLED all because of their new branding and website!
The hardest part to all of this, is taking the leap.
Are you completely satisfied with your current branding? If you are unsure whether or not you should pick up the phone to a designer, here are a few signs that could help you make that decision.

Is Your Brand Really How You Want It To Be?

1.    Your Target Audience Has Changed Overtime
This could be for a few reasons, one being that the demographic of your current target audience has changed. For example, your customers used to be post grads but are now young busy mums-on-the-go. This would therefore mean that your new website would need to adapt and reflect the evolving interests and values of this new demographic.
2.    You’ve Improved, Added or Changed New Services or Products
Perhaps at the start of your business journey you were a fitness instructor but over time you have transitioned in to more of a fitness coach and nutritionist. Or maybe you were a photographer and now you want to focus on specifically being a wedding photographer. For both of these cases, your ‘niche’ has changed and therefore your branding and site will need to change too as it will no longer reflect what you do and what services you offer.
3. Every Time You Go On Your Website You Want To Leave Straight Away
When you look at your branding or your website, how does it make you feel? If words like embarrassed, irritated, stressed come to mind or you’re unsure but know that something isn’t quite right… I think it’s time we had a chat! The good news is, updating your brand doesn’t need to be a major ordeal or investment. If you think this is you, let’s set up a free discovery call to discuss your worries.
4.    Sales Have Declined And You’re Ready For A Start Fresh
Have you reached a stagnant point in your business where sales are just not improving? Do you feel like you’re just not making enough money to take the business to the next level? This is a big sign that perhaps your current branding is not working its magic. If you feel like your business has plateaued then now is the time to think about a rebrand and to build a new, professional look that is going to attract your ideal clients in a bigger and much better way.

If any of the above has made you realise that you are not 100% satisfied with your current branding or website, get in touch! Let’s set up a discovery call to chat through your concerns and any questions you have. Remember - you should be proud of your business, it’s values and what it represents. If your branding is letting you down, this is the time to change that!
